                               RESOLUTION NO. 19696
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
                   CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 WITH MAYSE CONSTRUCTION
                   COMPANY, RELATIVE TO CONTRACT NO. 46A,
                   MURRAY HILLS COLLECTION SYSTEM, WHICH CHANGE
                   ORDER WILL INCREASE THE CONTRACT AMOUNT BY
                   TWENTY-THREE THOUSAND, SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY
                   AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($23,750.00), FOR A TOTAL
                   CONTRACT AMOUNT OF ONE MILLION, EIGHT
                   HUNDRED SEVENTY-EIGHT THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED
                   TWO AND 75/100 DOLLARS ($1,878,502.75),
                   WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       execution of Change Order No. 1 with Mayse Construction Company,
       relative to Contract No. 46A, Murray Hills Collection System,
       which change order will increase the contract amount by
       $23,750.00, for a total contract amount of $1,878,502.75, without 

       prior approval.
